Madelin Lock is a Singaporean student-athlete and rising basketball talent who has represented Singapore on the international stage. Originally a footballer, Madelin made the decision to focus on basketball in 2023, pursuing her ambition of helping to create greater opportunities and visibility for women’s basketball in Singapore.

A former Lion City Sailors Women’s player, Madelin made her Women’s Premier League debut at just 16 and ended her football career with a memorable hat-trick. She subsequently established herself as a leading young basketball player, captaining Hwa Chong Institution to the National School Games A Division girls’ title in 2025.

Madelin has represented Singapore at the FIBA U16 Women’s Asian Championship, where she averaged 9.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, and was also selected for Basketball Without Borders Asia 2024, bringing together some of the region’s most promising young players.

Beyond her sporting achievements, Madelin is passionate about inspiring the next generation and paving the way for greater opportunities in women’s basketball.
