​John Ng is the Executive Director and Head of Funds Specialist & Fund Selection Team at DBS Private Bank. With over 30 years in banking and finance, he began in corporate banking and project finance across Singapore and Hong Kong. He later transitioned to asset management with Fortis Investments in Amsterdam.

In 2007, he joined ING Private Bank (now Bank of Singapore) as Head of Research, overseeing securities research and product marketing. Ng joined DBS in 2017 to establish the Portfolio Counseling Team and managed advisory services. Since 2020, he has led the mutual funds and alternatives business.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree from Curtin University, Australia.​
